What night and time is Watson Brown's radio show and is it available on the 'net?
It's wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 live on location at Full Moon BBQ.
It is on radio in birmingham at 101.1FM. I believe it is availible on the net, im not sure as I am always there in person with the die hard blazer fans.

Some of us are there in spirit.... I am the spirit eating the onion rings in the corner....
Check 92.5 this Wednesday too... if the Barons' game is on 101.1 that is.

For a netcast, check UABsports.com Wednesday evening for a link. That's my best guess.

Amen.

Not being there doesn't make someone any less of a fan.

In my mind it does. If you live close enough to go, and don’t, then that is a conscious decision you make to not support UAB and one of UAB's main sponsors. I can understand not being able to go to all of them, but surely everyone can make the effort to go to one or two. Their a lot of fun, very informative, and a good place to get a good and affordable supper.

I can understand that not everyone can afford to go to the away games. I can understand that not everyone can afford to contribute loads of cash to the Blazer Club.

But just about everyone can afford to spend $6.00 a person to eat supper, visit with your fellow UAB fans, and give in-person support to the coaches, players, and administrators that often attend, not to mention a long time sponsor of UAB.

That's one factor.

Another would be "If you don't have to work nights..."

Someone who can't attend, for whatever reason, can still be a diehard fan.
I work in my church library on Wednesday nights. I love the Blazers, but it's an easy decision.
What time does everyone start getting there? I hope to be able to go tonight.
The show is from 7-8, people start to get there by 7:45 or so

Did you mean 6:45??
yeah, my bad, 6:45
What is the call-in number for the show tonight? I don't feel like looking for the thread that jay put it in.

Thanks again.

Bull$h!t..... If all the local fans showed up at Full Moon BBQ then nobody would be listening. Then what do you think would happen to the show?

The most we have ever had come to one of these for football is 24 i believe. Lets worry about not having any fans listening on the radio when we manage to actually fill the restraunt.

Mmm.... these onion rings are good :)
