Everytime he said 'Memphis' in the column, he used a capital H.
Unfortunately, though many of us understand the Mempis spelling, many others out there don't and just use it as another attempt to knock Alabama's education system.
Yeah, I don't know who made the sign but that was a god-awful decision. I don't even get it, unless you were trying to say Mem-Piss, in which case you should have used an extra S
It was a terrible decision. Leaving the "H" out of Memphis is not clever, it's just stupid.
I agree, and I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard that the reason it wasn't spelled as Mempiss revolved around the fact that ESP or someone would take the sign if it had something like that on it.
When will it end?
When some people no longer want to make a fool of themselves for the world to see.
The cable guy probably is a hero in some folk's eyes. Sad really. I hope that picture stays around as reminder for us all, especially for some of the folks in the picture.
Just think, if he hadn't have joined the Marines, the guy getting slapped would most likely have been BlazerSax.....
That would have been "Priceless"
I know that everyone keeps referring to him as a cable guy, but...
I thought that he was trying to come dressed as an inmate...thus, mocking the players who are in legal trouble right now...

Yeah, but "he" would have had to have been at the game in the first place...
