Played like a team..great team effort
Not only that, great crowd size today as well. It still could have been better.
pLayed about 3/4 of the game w/o Medlock who was in foul trouble the whole game, some silly fouls didn't help.

Lewis and Dobbins and Axon stepped up with Lewis holding Watson from CMU down.

There was a 2009 PG recruit at the game and I've been told that next Saturday therte will possibly be more recruits from the 2009 class.

Weds game against WMU will be televised on ESPNU - WMU will be waiting and we'll need to play awfully well to beat them. Ramsey has had difficulty winning on the road. Lets hope that changes this coming Weds.
Dennis..."Ramsey has had difficulty winning on the road"....you mean the team! they are the ones on the court. all being said a win would be nice.....By the way what made you change your name?
I am trying to put together a gathering of alumni from SW Michigan before the game Wednesday! We are meeting at the Buffalo Wild Wings on Stadium near WMU at 7 p.m. and going to the game around 8:30. Please feel free to stop by! Go Eastern!
Great job guys and Clyde keep on working on the attendance. Like to see it get back to at least double today's attendance for home games especially on the weekends.
fanasonic - name change - I felt I was being too negative under the old name and what is in a name?

P.S. Team is winning more after my name change - change is good sometimes.
the game was awesome. Loved to see our tenacious defense today. Travis Lewis can do anything. It was our best crowd of the season. Can't wait until crowds like that are the norm. We have been doing a great job of shutting down the opponent's best players lately.
Nice touch by presenting the FB team with the Michigan MAC trophy at todays game in front of CMU.

Nemo said on the radio that there were several HS junior FB prospects there today.
OUTSTANDING WIN!!!!
I also did enjoy getting high fives from all the players :-). I think we really pumped them up for that win and they did a great job showing their appreciation for us by coming over to the student section after the game.
Yo Clyde,

Nice work. Maybe you need to form a little student fan assoc. or something - find a few like minded students and organize. Might open the door from some of us to provide some financial support to help you make things happen..... If we all work together I know we can really have an impact!
Well, right now I've been throwing around the idea about an Eagle Nation website which I have been playing around with. I have talked to some of the people involved with Eagle Nation and they're liking the idea. I already threw a little site together with little content on it but the main objective would be to organize a pretty good student section. Right now I just have the template hosted on my account here from eastern but if we got a go ahead to make it an official site it would be nice with a domain name and such. I don't remember if I said this or not, but people are just uninformed about a lot of athletic information. One kid at the game Saturday didn't even know we beat Central or that we won the Michigan MAC in football. That thread I posted a couple days back was in regards to the website I was making, so if you would like a sneak peek at it just let me know on here or through a PM.

Anyone who is uninformed is that way by choice. If the kid didn't know EMU beat CMU then it was because he wasn't paying attention.
So what's your point? Obviously they aren't all paying attention. The question is how do we get them to pay attention? Clyde's got good ideas that apply to todays students. It isn't just about stapling crap to a telephone pole anymore. My question is how can us older dudes help a student like Clyde that is working to improve the situation?
