Akron vs NIU on FSN
You Flashers are goin' down! Oh wait. We suck. Nevermind. Congrats on the win. 03-wink
Are you guys so bad you're now losing to teams you're not even playing?
Miami 33
WMU 28 Halftime

Miami shooting 56% in the first half.
Broncos and Redhawks are going to overtime tied at 63.
Going to double OT tied at 71.

Broncos have been cold as ice and yet, somehow, Kool hits with 4 seconds left to go to OT. Then with about 10 seconds left in OT he hits a long 3 to send it to double OT.

He has to be hurting even worse than they are letting on.Watching the game he is totally ineffective right now,no lift at all on his jumper. What a shame for a senior!
woods is out for awhile, and middleton is a big mystery.if he is hurt he should not be playing.he was a great player last year, but gives us nothing now.i usually dont get on kd ever, but his personell moves do not make any sense right now.mcknight was playing well and scoring inside and jd takes him out for most of the second half.right now this team is in a world of hurt.bascially we are not getting much out of our seniors execept for dials.we will be lucky to get a bye,and if we play like this we will be done early in the tourney.
What's hurting Middleton? Knee? Ankle?

Read I think in the PD it is a knee that will require surgery after the season.
Man, Akron is getting killed by injuries to starters.
Akron still at Ohio, at BGSU, at Miami and home to Kent State.............They could slide down to a 7th seed if they drop those 4 games and CMU goes 3-2 vs the west to take the 6th seed. BGSU has Akron and Kent State at home, but Ohio and Miami away. Miami and Ohio have 3 home games left. You wonder how effective Wood will be and could Akron fall to 7th and draw WMU or Kent State in the quarterfinals.
One question will be Wood. Can he play 4 nites in row on that knee at the MAC tournament. He could be getting Reitz and Williams in the quarters and semis. Back to back nites against those two all-MAC players will be tough.

NIU has lost two starters this year. Paradise and Yelder. Zach Pancratz would have been a starter too but he had shoulder surgery before the season started.
OU has had its share of injuries slowing them down too. Everyone & every team has gotten hit by the injury bug. Toledo losing Kashif Payne might be the worst loss.
Looking forward to getting to Anderson Arena Sat for a BG hoops twinbill. Men host Akron at 2 and the Falcon women host EMU at 7.

I sat thru that ass whoopin at the JAR a month ago when BG lost badly, 80-44. Our boys haven't forgotten that game. Time for payback. 04-chairshot Look out for the Big O, Otis Polk! The Big man is getting it done. And Nate Miller is a beast now...It's Miller Time.
