Home cooking Tenn officials gave the game to Tenn by stopping the clock with 0.2 secs to give Tenn a foul call.

Great game RU and you guys should have won that game.
Was it our guys officiating game? Wouldn't surprise me.
Nevermind, I just realized Rutgers was in SEC territory and we know their act down there.

$$$$$
God I am pissed and I am an UCONN fan. God I hate those damn Orange Tenn even though its women's basketball. I can't wait for my Huskies to take those guys down. Those guys chickened out on their annual series with UCONN too on top of it. They figure they won't beat UCONN once they lose Candice Parker. They are right. Now we just have to beat their butts in the NCAA tournament.
It looks like the women's championship goes throw UConn, and I hope you guys get your hands on them. Or Rutgers gets dropped in Tennessee's region for some payback! I was a Big East conference women's basketball fan even before UC joined the conference so I'm pissed to!
It's one thing for the ref to make a bad call. It's another for the time keeper to freeze the clock at 0.2 seconds and the refs to turn their backs on it.

RU got hosed big time. Terrible home cooking. 05-nono
I wrote the following in another thread. This is how it went down:

You want to talk about bad officiating? I was also watching the Tenessee women play the Rutgers women game. With about 7 seconds left, Rutgers is up by one point, Tenn has the ball and takes it all the way down to their basket. Tenn takes the shot, misses, and rebounds, takes another shot, and misses, and gets the rebound again, takes a shot, Rutgers fouls. Now how were they able to take the ball down the court and get 3 shots off and also get those rebounds off? The clock stops at .2 seconds misteriously. No foul call, no nothing. The clock guy just stops the clock with point 2 seconds on the clock. A foul is now called. If the clock had not stopped, the foul would have happened after time expired.

The worst part of all Tenn makes both free throws. Rutgers inbounds the ball with .2 seconds left, a tenn player fouls and hits the ball out of bounds, but the clock never started, and the foul was never called. It was still point 2 seconds on the clock. the refs called it a game and walked off the floor. The Tenn players were hesitant to celebrate a win because it appeared that even they thought there was going to be another play.

I dont know if it was BE officials but it was the worst called game that I ever saw in the final seconds. THE WOST EVER.
Rutgers women got robbed.
If the SEC has any integrity they will overrule that play and give Rutgers the win. That is one of the rare situations where an obvious injustice (freezing the clock) actually effected the outcome of a game and you don't have to replay the play in order to get it right.
Whoa that was ugly. It was a great game but there should be an overturn on this. Also, the final throw by RU could have been a foul too but they did not call it either. How much home cooking will there be? How many other teams want to go there and play now? That was definition of cheating right there. Even both Tenn announcers agreed the clock stopped at .02 secs for like 2 secs.

If voters have any faith in the system, they need to vote RU #1 in the polls.
Final 27 Seconds

What a BS Call by the Refs

That was absolute horseshit I'm so pissed off right now because I know it won't be overturned
This is just another fine example of how UTK CHEATS. Dont be confused, this has happen before. It was a couple years ago, the same thing happen; close game and the clock froze. Rutgers got robbed big time.
Tennessee and the NCAA should both step up and correct this.

Anything less is shows completely no class.
Justice will prevail. TN will have to go through Rutgers and UConn in the NCAAs. Lord help them if they get either anywhere along the way...but especially Rutgers cause their coach will have the easiest motivation job in the history of all sports.
btw they were BE officials not SEC

I believe your "wrong" here is a piece from the ESPN article!! It took me 5 minutes to find the truth rutgers fan......

The Southeastern Conference assigned Bob Trammell, Tina Napier and Bonita Spence as the game's officials because they work several conferences, including the SEC and Big East.

Who gives a Fluck where they work Rutgers was cheated and robbed.
Our fat cat comish MT will fix it though, or is he afraid to ruffle feathers........
