I've only become aware of channelsurfing.net in the last four games. It is great because it allows me to see the game and have good audio on my computer although the picture is only about post card size. It's free, so the price is right. I don't know if this is blacked out locally or not, but some people talk about listening on the radio so I assume that either they don't know about it or it is unavailable to them.

I am really glad that MD recruited Aaron Johnson and Ed Berrios, because with Paul Delaney's injury they were desperately needed. However, IMO, PG is the weakest position on the team. AJ is only a freshman and plays out of control at times. Neither of them is really much of a scoring point guard.

I don't have any idea who MD is recruiting for next year, but I would like to see a bigger freshman PG and another C or PF.

We don't have any scholarships available to sign a new player.

At this time there are 11 returning players next year which includes:

10 Z
11 Huffman

It has been said on this message board that Huffman is NOT on scholarship and is using the GI Bill. I have no idea if this is true, but if it is and it stays true next year, then there would be three schollies available. It is rumored that Sharpe will return next year and would use a schollie (I'll believe it when I see it). It looks to me like UAB has 1 - 3 schollies available for next year. If you look at the recruiting board, it indicates that MD is still looking at some guys for 2008. Whether he will sign anyone or not, I don't know.

The staff is leaving a scholarship open for Sharpe if he makes the grades for next season. There is also the possibility of Keenan Ellis returning.
