Interesting this verbal is from California. This position was one that EMU tried to fill last year and had a couple of guys they looked at this year. Interesting how many offensive line types they looked at this year: MacLeod, I have Korey Neal, Vandenburg from Indiana, this guy and Watman. Nice to see this year and last year's efforts.

Probably looking for a kicker as well! Had one and he decommitted, don't thin k they are satisfied with Johnson as a FG / Kick Off Kicker.

P.S. HEARD Genyck also received a verbal from DEMASTER FROM DAKOTA (SCORED 4 TDS IN CLASS A FB FINALS). WILL TRY HIM AS AN OLB @ ABOUT 6'2, 205 - AN ALL STATER IN ONE OF THE PAPERS (fp?) - A GOD CATCH IF TROUGH. HIS BROTHER IS AN OL FOR US AND PLAYED LAST SEASON AS A REDSHIRT FROSH - STARTED SOME AND WILL PROBABLY START THIS SEASON.[/i]
Kyle Demaster would be a great pickup.

Dont think they are looking for kickers anymore, unless preferred walk-ons, still have Johnson, Dutcher and Belmonte. Belmonte has one hell of a leg, but I heard he was very inconsistent last year, but is working hard. As for kick-offs, Johnson was instructed to pooch kick by the coaches, I watched almost every bowl game this year and alot of teams are doing it, why?, I dont know...lol....And as for Demaster, a player from my neck of the woods, without looking it up, I could have sworn he commited to MSU, unless something happened..OLB, I dont think so, he was one hell of a WR, DB in high school, would need about 25 to 30 lbs first, which could happen....I put him in the category with Downard and Long only taller, which is nice...his brother Dan is moving to RT where Walton was...shoiuld be Lang, Fretz, Davis, Demaster and Johnson on the line this year......
Belmonte is gone. Don't know why other than he didn't travel much and never broke ahead of Dutcher even with Dutcher's serious medical issues.

Demaster is a great pickup.
California is where we got our last two LS as well. They must grow on trees out there.
