14 and change to play, UConn's up 36-27 after a 9-0 IU start.

This with two UConn guys out. Go Huskies! This would be a huge win for them and for the conference, taking out the pride and joy of the Big Ten.
Uconn's size and power in the frontcourt is giving a smaller Indiana team fits. Adrien and Theebet are some of the best blocking bigmen in the country. Uconn looks more physacle with the ball a trait of Big East basketball .
52-44 with 5 and a half to go. Huskies were up 11 when Stemmler hits a three for the Hoosiers, and Calhoun calls a timeout. Looks like a nice, all-around team effort for UConn today, regardless of the outcome.

Oh and Gordon now has 4 fouls
67-60 with 15 seconds to play, game over.

Congrats to the Huskies!

Great game Uconn and Congratulations on a great win against #7 Indiana and ending their 27 game home winning streak. The team did the BE Proud. 04-rock

LOL, it looks like the old Uconn is back. Now we just need the old Cuse to come back.04-cheers
Memphis tiger fans send congrats. Thanks for the rpi boost. Great victory for you guys and the big east.
They might be Indiana, but we are still UCONN. Even without two of our better players, we beat them down in their house playing old style BE basketball. Oh yeah, Indiana is ranked #7 and is on their 27th game home winning streak.

I have no idea where UCONN should be ranked, but we are a lot better than many top 25 years out there. BE will still be a war and there won't be any easy games left no matter who we play.

Thanks and we would like another rematch. Our team is growing up before our eyes. Teams don't want to play UCONN in March.
Funny moment: Earlier on in the game, UConn's up by a little bit with the ball. The crowd, with about 25 seconds left on the shot clock, starts a fake count. Thabeet gets a pass right past the key and, as the crowd's chant hits "2, 1, 0!" he jacks up a horrible shot, with probably 15 or 16 seconds left on the clock. You could actually hear the crowd laughing in unison. The announcers gave him a lot of crap for listening to the crowd, and indeed it was a funny sequence, but Thabeet played a phenomenal game, especially later on. After seeing him in person on Wednesday at the Shoe, and watching today, the difference in his game from last year to this year is like night and day.

We need to enjoy Thabeet while he is still in UCONN uniform. He is gone after this year and he will be a top 10 pick for sure. Next year he will be posting up against Yao Ming in the NBA.

Note to future top big men in the country, if you want to improve your game and go to NBA, come to UCONN where we produce them like an assembly line.

when I saw that the refs were not calling some of the hard fouls, I knew Uconn had the advantage, as they are used to playing hard, physical basketball in the BE. Congrats again, great win.04-rock

Cincinnati and other Big East schools aren't bad at producing big men themselves. Impressive win for UConn.
Congrats to UConn
Congrats on a great win. Way to uphold the conference honor outside the conference.
Congrats UCONN.....it always puts a smile on my face when the bigteleven loses, esp. to UC's conference!
Big big win for the conference today. Perception wise, what can you say when a current mid-level BE team beats the Big 10's best in dominant fashion, at the Big 10 venue, with the BE team missing two players. The difference between the leagues is wide this season.
