I'd assume some former Eagles will get drafted.

Check the location of the gig - reference to A2. 03-phew

Pretty soon everything with will Ann Arbor.

The Ann Arbor professional baseball team of Detroit (AKA Tigers).

Maybe Bloomfield Hills will become a 'burb of Ann Arbor. 05-stirthepot

I spent a lot of time in the car yesterday and WDFN ran a commercial for this event all afternoon. Everytime I heard "Ann Arbor Marriott" my blood pressure went up.

It's the same thing as St. Joe Hospital. The facility is typically identified as being in Ann Arbor, but it has a 48197 (Ypsi) zip code. It's right accross the street from Rynearson!

I'm sure if a crime occurred at one of these locations it would be reported as an Ypsi crime.

Ypsi is my hometown and disrespect like this p*sses me off.
W'Nickle:

I believe St. Joes has its own zip code.

I believe they created a new zip after St. Joes was built.

Don't know if anyone else shares its zip.

Sounds silly but that stuff is done.

The building I work has its own zip code.
It's 48197. I checked.

I've pretty much given up on the absurdity of the Detroit media and their followers. Detroit media logic goes as such:
  • If somebody was successful in a 75-mile radius, Detroit is credited.
  • If something bad happened outside of Detroit, point out the actual city.
  • Michigan people are gullible enough to go along with this. 03-banghead
Hey Nickle,

What's up with the Nickle? I saw that it is closed down. Anybody going to restart it?

It was scheduled to be torn down. It may be down already.
Too bad to see the Nickel gone. If the new owners were able to secure or transfer a liquor license before they opened, they would have had no problems. In some ways, I think that the school wanted to see them close. The old owner drank or drugged his profits away.
