You've gotta admit that it's easy being nasty towards someone wearing green hair, especially when that person likes to voice his opinion.

I plan on going tonight - my first game this year.

I wasn't wearing my green wig or makeup. Just being my loud self and rooting for my team.04-rock
Gay doesn't get enough credit for his game. Firing this team up tonight!
An excellent win by the guys tonight really put it to them!

Tonight was a great win. It was nice to see us take an early lead and keep it the entire game. I think we're all used to seeing every team that we are beating making a run in the second half. I really think Ramsey has them coming out of the half better than he used to. And, it seems like he is more set in his lineups than earlier in the season. He let the guys play more without so much substitution.

It also seemed like we ran the offense much better than normal. Everyone was patient and waited for something to happen. There were very few forced shots.

That being said, Toledo looked atrocious. I'm not sure what their problem was, besides the complete lack of a point guard. They have beaten and been close to beating some good teams, and i have no clue how. their ball handling was terrible. I was talking to some toledo fans who said they are just really bad on the road, but good at home. They also said losing Payne was a huge loss for the team. I can definitely see that - they had no one to bring the ball up. #31 is not meant to be a point guard by any means.

I was very surprised that Farris didn't get a single minute, even with the game so much in hand. I really hope he doesn't end up transferring at the end of the year.

Some thoughts on the players:

Medlock - He played exactly how we all expected him to be playing after his great freshman year. i don't know if it has been the injury or something else that has made him so inconsistent, but hopefully it is now behind him.

Gay - I have completely changed my opinion of him. I love his game. The best part about his game today was that he didn't have any fouls.

Cooper - I think he is slowly becoming more comfortable on the floor. He has blocked at least 3 3-point attempts that i've seen this year. That is pretty rare. It is a testament to his quickness and jumping ability.

Matthews - He has so much more confidence out there this year. it has suited him well.
Farrow really seems to be in Ramsey's dog house. He started the game then screwed up defensively about 2 minutes into the game. Rams pulled him immediatly, chewed him out, and kept him on the bench until mop-up time at the end of the game.
Agree on Farrow, witnessed the chewing out etc. In regards to Farris, I did not see him on the bench at all. Wonder if he has left the team etc.?
I thought i saw Farris on the bench, but i was pretty far away.
Farris was not there, was told he was under the weather with flu symptoms.
that makes me feel better about him not playing the Toledo game, but i agree with you, Dennis, that I would like to see him get more playing time.

Then again, i've never been to practice so I am really in no position to say who deserves what.
