Why is BG-Akron at 7:00, between weather & NFL game will any body be there.

We'll have about 3,500 peple there, is my guess. The JAR holds 5,500.

The students will be there, and I'm hoping that the communnity has finally caught on that seeing a game at the JAR for $10.00 is a cheap way to see some very good entertainment.
Mia beats Buffalo, Temple beat St Loius. Temple has decent RPI [48] & next 7 games they should win. If temple can show some consistency they be in pretty good shape. SOS is #4
2,200 in Mia today, I can't believe MAC office doesn't try something. 12 schools with marketing classes & nobody can come with anything

What does Temple basketball have to do w/ the MAC?
Marketing departments do what they can. It's not people's jobs to go to games; you can't force them.

How many people are going to look at a game between two 0-3 teams and want to go?
I would be curious as to the Temple attendance figures this year. Years ago I remember talking to people at work about how mediocre Temple's attendance was for all the big teams they got to play. I think the game I remember was against a ranked Wake Forest and there was about 2,800.

Miami's attendance is poor, there is no spark for that program. The year started off with pretty good crowds, but at 6-9 there is a momentum.
akron hammering bg 21-4 at home.

Believe it. Sure you don't want to bring Temple basketball to the MAC?
akron 37-14 with 3 min until half
Temple's got there own promblem's, never said they didn't. I remember the WF game your talking about, I forget what the deal was but your right. 2,800 was horriable
the mac does not do much, but niether do the mac schools.
i can only speak for akron marketing, and a.d. dept which is to do nothing.
i hope we save something for kent.45-19 at the half

So all that advertising for Akron I saw during winter break was a mirage, then.

Hey, you want them to do more? Give them more money. Otherwise, shut up because everyone is doing the best they kind while undermanned and outgunned.
Akron 45 Bowling Green 19 Half

Akron has alot of dunks in this one. They are playing alot of different players and everything is going their way. It looks like the Zips will get a chance to give everyone some minutes tonight.
o-zoner.last time i checked this is a free speech nation.i will say what i want.if you dont like that it's not my problem.
if billboards don't work, you do something else. bands, gymnatics, sponser with giveaways. If the city had any brains, they realize full stadium means people spending money. I realize weather a factor today, but you have bunch students sitting in dorm rooms with nothing to do. schools can't do something for them at game
Akron 69 BG 33 with 5:30 to go

Quade Miliam had 22 points on 10/11 shooting. Zips are playing everyone who normally does not play now. Everything is just falling right tonight for the Zips.
Zips 80 Falcons 44 Final

Everything went well tonight and the game became lopsided early. Every player saw time for the Zips and our walk ons were just draining shot after shot.
