Hawaii defeated Long Beach State whom is the first place team in the Big West, and Hawaii is near the "bottom" of the WAC. The game was also @Long Beach.

According to realtimerpi it didn't do much in the rankings. The WAC is still the #9 rated conference in the land.
However, it did help the individual RPI's. USU jumped to 55 and NMSU is at 71. Nevada is now at 20.
The WAC still has some work to do to get a second bid, (assuming Nevada wins the tourney,) but they did give themselves a little boost today.
Did you hear the announcer on ESPN declare Nevada will make the final 4?
