These next 5 games coming up could be the key to the season, @ EMU, @BALL ST, Toledo, CMU, @ Kent ST. every game is winnable. I could very well seeing us winning 4 out of the next 5 or winning all 5. The conbined record for our next 5 opponents are 23-38. If Redell can continue to play the way he played against NIU then we should be in VERY good shape. I might sound crazy but I could very well see us winning the next 5.

What does everyone think?
at EMU, at Ball, and Toledo are must wins if we want to do something this season in the MAC.

CMU and at Kent are going to be tough games. Kent a very, very tough game on the road.

I'll be happy with 4 outa 5.
I agree, 4/5 would be great!

Go Broncos!
Broncos always seem to do the opposite of what you expect. So I expect them to beat EMU, lose to BSU, beat CMU at home, beat UT at home, and beat Kent on the road. Sure, Kent on the road is the one you expect to lose, but then I expected to beat IUIUP and lose to SIU.
If we get 4 of 5 and lose at Kent we're pretty much right on track, especially in the West.

None will be easy and as we all should know by now that with this team, we can not count on anything. One at a time.

But I agree, Petit. This next two weeks might not make the season, but certainly could break it.

Check out this page on KenPom. It has a new feature this year - predicted outcomes with the predicted pace in brackets and the projected chance of winning the game in parenthesese.

I agree with most of Pom's predictions. But I'll go out on a limb and say we run Miami out of the building. Huge blowout at home.
You guys remember this is the MAC right. Home of near impossible road win? Be satisfied if we go 3 out of 5 in that schedule...especially with our inconsistent lineup

Also I'm unfamiliar with this Pom site. Looks like it could be very useful for handicapping.
EMU is below average at best, Ball St is beyond awful, and Toledo lost a lot to graduation. 2 on the road shouldnt matter. EMU is a neutral court and like I said, Ball is awful.

If we lose any of those games, expect .500 at best in the MAC this season cause there are a lot tougher teams ahead on our schedule after those 3.
BSU is awful, but Stovall can go off. He dropped 37 in BSU's only win. Not to hard to figure out Hawk's game plan in that one.
