Nice way to start the conference season against a school that just flat out hates us. Saw the game on Comcast and it seemed like a nice balanced effort albeit neither team shot very well.

I didn't make it and I don't have Comcast, but it sounded like a good effort on the radio. Beating EMU is always a good thing.

The offense did its part. We just need to make sure the defense shows up in Ypsi in the fall. And in W. Lafayette. :muttering:

Back to hoops: the game wasn't even as close as the final score. We led by double digits for at least half the game and were up as many as 19 points well into the 2nd half. If we hadn't been a bit rusty from the layoff, I think it would have been an old-fashioned beat-down in our favor.
