Three men charged with capital murder in the shooting death of UAB student Kayla Fanaei are scheduled to be in court tomorrow for a hearing to decide if the case should be bound over to a Jefferson County grand jury, according to court records.
Alfred Marina, 19; Maurice McCarty, 19; and Gregory Hill, 21; are charged with capital murder during a robbery.
Fanaei, a 20-year-old psychology major at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, was found shot to death inside her car about 1 a.m. Oct. 8. The three defendants -- all from Birmingham -- were arrested in December.
