He held Padgett to 6 total points in 2 games, and 1 game he had a concussion.

Figures, you always get guys back for games against us. Brian Brohm last year ring any bells.

I hope they wrap a couple of big pillows around his knee and armor plate it. Take care of that kid. He's the ticket to a long tourny ride in March.

Many UofL fans had tremendous respect for Hicks; we liked his toughness and the way he just went about his business and got things done. We were glad to see him leave; it seemed like he was around forever.

But Padgett doesn’t necessarily have to score a lot to be effective; he really his more like our point guard when we are in our half-court offense. He is a great passer; good things happen when we get him touches in the offensive set.

Still, even if he does play against Cincy some, he will be coming off a long lay-off, but this will be another UofL-Cincy brawl nevertheless.

One more note to Cincy fans. Perhaps some of you remember Ohio prep star WR Josh Chichester (6-8, 225) that almost went to Ohio State but wound up at UofL (he redshirted this last season).

Josh joined the basketball team a couple of weeks ago. He will still play football, but Pitino asked Kragthorpe if he can borrow Josh for a while since the b-ball team was shorthanded (for one thing, this freed up first-year coach, ex-NBA player Walter McCartey from having to always scrimmage with the team).

It's going to be fun, especially since UC is actually playing a little bit better. This team seems to play better in rivalry games as well (Xavier, Miami-OH, Memphis this year).
