Who in their right mind would take a plea deal to unknown charges-
guilty or not?

The blocks own the paper in pittsburgh too. I wonder if they attack the university of pittsburgh in the same manner? It's ok to report the news but it's not front page stuff.

I'm sure the Blocks learned alot about journalism through Paul Sr's friendship with William Randolph Hearst(known for yellow journalism-exaggeration and lies).Block Sr.was executor of Hearst's will and had
Hearst as a silent partner(the original money guy) in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette until he bought WRH out.

Placing the critical point shaving basketball, the one Manni sharpie'd the game's betting line on, in Triplett's hands could break this case wide open.

Well, if people here are right, and the Blade is just trying to slander UT and Triplett it is working. The story has some traction with locals.

Friday some guys who saw me wearing my UT jacket told me they think there definitely could be something to Triplett point shaving. They went on to reason that he was considered the preseason favorite for MAC POY and had his most disappointing season as a Rocket. And was definitely in a position to shave points as the star of the team.

Hope this gets cleared up (favorably for UT) sooner rather than later.
