The paper did not list any visitors this weekend. I thought we were supposed to have some JC linebackers visit. JC signing day is next Wednesday.
With the early signing period for mid-semester JUCO prospects less than a week away recruits and the schools recruiting them are rushing to get official visits in before the dead period starts on Dec. 16th. Mississippi boasts one of the most competitive JUCO leagues in the country and there is never a shortage of top quality I-A prospects in the state. Several of these top prospects are making last minute official visits.

LeGarrette Blount, EMCC
East Mississippi (Scooba, Miss.) C.C. Running back LaGarrette Blount is headed to Florida State this weekend to take in his official visit with the 'Noles. Blount is a somewhat recent commitment to Coach Bobby Bowden.

East Central (Decature, Miss.) C.C. receiver prospect Freddie Parham is visiting Southern Miss. Parham is a long-time commitment to the Eagles. This will be Parham's first face to face meeting with new coach Larry Fedora.

Mississippi Gulf Coast (Perkinston, Miss.) C.C. has several players making official visits this weekend. Defensive back Tramaine Brock, who is committed to Minnesota, informs MagnoliaPreps.com that he will visit Memphis this weekend.

Josh Wiley, PRCC
Pearl River (Poplarville, Miss.) has at least two prospects making visits this weekend. Four-star DB Josh Wiley will visit Southern Miss. Three star defensive tackle prospect Alex Ford will take a trip to Coral Gables, to visit Miami.

Co-Lin (Wesson, Miss.) C.C. TE prospect Jonathan Massey will visit Southern Miss. Massey committed to the Golden Eagles prior to the coaching change in Hattiesburg.

Tramaine is a 3 star.
We're sending our guys by Nutt's house to see if wants them first. Saves on expenses.
I haven't heard of this guy but i came across it primarily because i was lucky while searching around on rivals, he is committed but that means nothing. If we were to land him after being a Minn. commit, then we can't be pouty about Brandon Green being with us and then going back on his word.

I'm glad he did its the quickest way to get Nutt fired. He won't last long recruiting CUSA level athletes.
