Thanks Wooden! Good catch.

As a senior at Charleston W Virginia he was a AAA All State RB played in North South All Star game and ran for 1,423 yards and 17 TDs.

At Fort Union he also played RB ran for 1,489 yards, 22 TDs and averaged 6.2 yards per carry.

On defense he had 13 sacks as a CB, 4 intereceptions and 3 TDs.

Don't have his speed in the 40 or his strength stats.

Oh yeah Rivals rated him 32 out of the top 50 prep players this year. Last year Priest was in the top 50 to give you an idea.
Heard we were also bringing in a JC TE from Hancock JC in California. Also vibes about a bigtime RB named Corey Brown from Troy Ohio and a huge OL from, Bierwalter's school, Chesterton Indiana. Thanks all I know! Perhaps someone can look up? Have to run and I will be attending the Robichaud HS Basketball game this evening to see our recruit play.
There were a number of OL at our Indiana QB's school Chesterton and both have signed with other schools.
huroncowboy - I wish I could elaborate, but I am very sure you are off on EMU still not in the mix for a OL from Chesterton.
mARK vANDENBURGH 300 LB OT
ALSO A rb FROM JACKSON, mi - Thomas
here is one we lost from our back yard, a mear 10K, from Rynearson:

December 7, 2007 - Fadi Farha, 6-4,280, Offensive Line, Ann Arbor Pioneer High School - Has committed to Toledo according to the Detroit Free Press.

Farha was first team All-SEC Conference. Also honorable mention all-state by the Detroit News.

Attended UT's recent football banquet.

Recruited by Joe Gilbert.
Guys,

EMU Steve is correct about losing one in our backyard.

There are a number of OL in the Chesterton IN including Sam Jaegar or Sam Jaeger who committed to WMU.

Rock there is a Kyle Pollock second team all conference at Allan Hancock Community College in California.

There is a RB Cory Brown from Troy OH not ranked by any scouting service.

We may in ie offers or interest from a few guys. We're as usual in the unranked territory for a lot of the guys which makes it hard to track.

Right now the guys to use Steve's term that "interest" me are the RB from Cincy, Kelvin Sellis from Canada, Watman from Canada if he signs and the three star guy Morrison from prep school.
We need more LBs! Bynum and McKinney are listed as DB/WR. Since they both appear to be about 200lbs they are just a few good meals and workouts away from LB size.

Bynum is listed as a LB and a kid named Steve Brown from Fork Union Military, a teammate of Eric Morrison's.

The JUCO TE is Pollock. A Wr named Corey Manns from Kenton Ohio and a RB from Jackson, MI named Tyler Thomas are a few other names floating around.

Happy Recruiting.

Manns sounds like a real Boyscout!

Wow - this happened over a year ago!
We lost Wentz(sp), the kid from Andrew High in IL to Ill. State. It was in the tribune yesterday.
BTW, re: Farha.

EMU and UT offered and he had visited scheduled with some Big Ten schools.

Was first team all-area by the Ann Arbor News.

P.S. anything new on Ron Spears recruitment? (He is the A2 News POY a 5'6" 168 RB).

Farha is too close to Ypsi and probably has people chirping "EMU sucks" in his ear. Oh well, at least EMU got good depth at OL already.

I'm not sure about Spears. I've heard through the grapevine that there might be acedemic issues. EMU reportedly has at least 2 RB's already in this class and had 3 in last years class so who know's if they'll even take another. White at OLSM and Harper from E. Lansing might also be targets.
Harper doesn't mention us and White I beleive is committed elsewhere (thought I read this somewhere). My understanding is that we are still recruiting Spears, the local star who would be a nice catch.

The RB from Ford (PSL) we brought in in last year's class had a told ACL. Don't know about his availability . Look for Priest and Jones to step up. Blevins??? perhaps a LB candidate or to be used in short yardage situations. Spring ball will tell.
Dont' forget Eric Morrison looks like an impressive RB if he doesn't play DB.
