Well done, guys. That's a marquee win for you.
Thank you, O Zoner. The Flashes are starting to really hit on all parts of the game. The key is the stifling defense, which just gets the other team to beat themselves after frustration sets in. Happened to St.Louis and today with GM.
I'm glad we don't play Kent for a while. They are 8-2 and one loss was a buzzer beater and the other is ranked 5th in rpi.
I was listening to part of the game on the radio and it really sounded like you guys were swarming all over Will Thomas each time he touched the ball.
I agree with my Bobcat guys...nice win Kent State! very impressive!

Thanks guys, the Mac will be exciting this year, looks like you guys' schedule is about to get pretty hefty as well. We wish you luck with that. The more wins we all get, the more respect the MAC will get, and the more interesting it will be!
yeah we are definitely heading into the "Murderer's Row" portion of our schedule with seven road games in a row against teams like Maryland, Kansas, St. John's, etc. hopefully we can pull out a win or two (being deliberately conservative here!) along the way. we all know it will come down to how we do in the MAC tournament relative to whether we get in the post-season or not, but a couple of wins in this streak will still look good for us and the MAC, if nothing else.
BB, don't you know we're just a bunch of classless jerks that think OU is the supreme entity in the universe? Come on.
Oh yeah, i forgot! thanks for reminding me!

OU RULES!! THE REST OF THE MAC SUCKS! 03-nutkick

how's that? 03-lmfao05-stirthepot
Only Akron thinks that...
This is the part of our schedule where the W/l really don't matter. Where gonna be expected to lose and lose big. In these next three games. These are very athletic teams and can press and that is not a strength with our questionable ball handling at times. The good news is that were on national TV vs the third ranked team in the country. This will be the biggest game ever for most of the team that hasn't played in an NCAA first round game. You wonder how the players will handle this game. Kansas is a legit final four contender. Ohio's last win over a ranked team was #11 Syracuse in late 1990's handing Syracuse their first loss ever in their Carrier classic (cupcake classic).

True. I think they're not keeping score and having cake afterwards.

The English language just died right here.

Our turnover rate is 19.7%, which is 81st in the country. I would not call this a weakness.

And, as you pointed out, it doesn't matter if they win or not. So it's really just awesome.

This is hardly Jimmy Chitwood and the boys seeing the state finals for the first time.

Perhaps if they fire Bill Self, sure.
