Those home games are both winnable. They need to step up and win games like those. Putting up a good effort isn't enough anymore. Upsetting a team like Pitt would be gravy, but I think they'll be a lot better next year than they have been the last few.
UB is also trying to sign Gill to a contract extension.

Speaking of schedules, when do we find out who's only playing seven conference games? I hope it's not us. Miami really got hosed having to play 5 OOC games.
Looks like a good schedule for Buffalo.
Have most teams announced their 2008 non-conference opponents? Who's got the toughest and easiest schedules?

University of Toledo Rockets' '08 OOC FB Schedule:
9/6@University of Arizona
9/20 Fresno State
9/27 FIU
10/11@University of Michigan
as far as i know, we've only "announced" 3 of our OOC games for 2008. i say "announced" because i've only seen this on a non-Ohio University-related Web site. so take it for what it's worth.
so far, we have:
August 30 @ Wyoming
September 6 @ Ohio State
September 20 @ Northwestern
I'm assuming, given recent history, that our fourth game will be a home game probably against a I-AA opponent or a non-BCS opponent. i'm sure some of my fellow Bobcats have more information than I have, though.
Bama(or Minnesota)- Alabama has been scheduled but it sounds like
that game might be cancelled and Minnesota
picked up.

WMU has Nebraska as their opener in Lincoln.
