to WIN a Bowl Game.

Hurry Up Temple!

Purdue 37
CMU 20

Rutgers 45
Ball State 14

Tulsa 45
BGSU 28
I see at least one MAC bowl win this season...I think both BG and BSU have a great shot at winning...not so sure about CMU's chances against at B10 foe, albeit one they've faced (and lost to) already this year.

I like BG and BSU's chances.
And Temple fans wonder why we hate them all. This may come as a shock to you, but the MAC has won bowl games before. And not just against C-DOA. They've beaten major conference teams in bowls.

But have fun waiting for Temple to finish in the top 3 of the conference. 03-old 03-old 03-old
I think central will beat purdue. central is playing well an purdue isn't. central's fans should turn out for this game and it's never easy to beat a team twice.

rutgers is really good and ball state is an average team with a great qb, the key will be if rutgers comes out flat playing in a low profile bowl in january. bg- tulsa should be a good game whoever wins.

on the topic i think the mac is killing themselves with their bowl and tv decisions, playing low profile bowl games in january is dumb. fans are less likely to travel as the xmas credit card bills come in and classes start back up. nationally attention is on the bcs and nfl playoffs and the teams are stale after not playing a game for a month and a half. in addition, the glut of late season midweek games gets mac teams on tv but it means big rivalry games have become mid week tv shows without the tailgating, road tripping, partying and all that comes with a big saturday game. we've got teams playing their rivals at 11 a.m. on thanksgiving, tuesday nights, midweek for espnuandidontgetthatchannel, whatever... play an occasional midweek game for exposure and use it to leverage a couple saturday espn2 games. it will be better for the league overall. the present way is killing november football for the league from a fan support standpoint.

Hate is an awfully strong word, but Walt, you certainly set a certain tone with that as your first post.
Anybody remember the castle?
Sorry but i totally disagree with the projections for Tulsa. I personally would favor BGSU in this game.

Testicle Tech will have it's hands full w/ Rutgers and i'm not optimistic there.

CMU has a legitimate shot but they will have to keep it close or be leading late. (i love saying a lot of nothing! i could be a politician 03-drunk)
