According to the box score it was 4,691. That seems accurate to me.

I think that's a bit optimistic, but I enjoyed the game anyway.
I was a bit disappointed by the crowd. It was Cincy, after all. Still, it's before Christmas still, and it was a college football Saturday. If we keep winning more and more will come.
the ones who were there, particularly the student section were very enthusiastic.
A large percentage even stayed till the end.

I agree. It looked to be about 4500 to me.

Well, the certainly weren't sitting at courtside. They must have been in the rafters, because on TV, all you saw in the lower level behind the scorer's table were empty seats.
I figured the place to be about half full. The crowd was into the game most of the time, but somehow one ref managed to call a BS foul just when the crowd started to get good and loud.
The crowd was pathetic, especially those with the best seats in the house. I saw more empty green seats on CSTV than I saw people in them.
And why would people hold empty seats?
Go ahead and donate $$$ - but keeping those seats cold doesn't make sense.
There was also a big concert that night at a packed BJCC. (Nicole Kidman's Husband)
I almost didn't make the game but gave my tickets to Copperblazer and he took his daughter. Heard I missed a great show.
My wife went to the concert. I took Little Man to the game with me. He clapped and sayed "yea" when Mitchell got ejected. I am teaching him well!

Hated to miss that one. Gary Allan making a rare appearance this side of the Mississippi and Keith Urban can flat out burn up a guitar.

It looked like (on TV) that all the floor seats opposite the benches were empty. And of course, the Frozen 100 are up to their old tricks again. Lock-up the seat, but don't show up.

Sad to say but its hard to even give away your UAB tickets. I've tried and tried with co-workers for games that I'm going to miss and I rarely find takers. I offered a guy tickets to the Jacksonville game and he said he had already been offered courtside tickets from a guy at church and didn't even take those. Not a UAB fan, but a basketball fan.
Now if you're on this message board, you can find somebody to take them, but I'm sure there are plenty of fans that aren't on Blazertalk 24/7
