Joe was interviewed on WGN radio Sportscenter tonight. They talked to him for about 15 minutes. Joe said he had made up his mind about retiring before the season started.

Joe also said he's "never tailgaited" and he's looking forward to traveling around the country to college football games and tailgaiting. Somehow, I just can't get that picture into my head!

Actually, I can.

He surely cannot be imagined to drink himself silly but hoisting a few and enjoying a grilled brat sounds JoeN to me. Blue collar & genuine fan of college football.

I hope his first stop is Huskie Stadium at HMM's van/Bus at our first home game! Which reminds me HMM needs to get a signed picture of Novak for his van/bus if he doesn't already have one.

HMM should send him a personl invitation.

Think he will get the chance at the spring game? We should have a new coach in place by that time...
