Michigan- Our sources say that Brian Kelly will be named HC if the interview doesn't turn off the Woman President

My two cents. I think everyone should prepare themselves for the very real possibility that BK will be gone. My sources tell me that if Nebraska or Michigan offer he is gone. And this is coming from a member of the current coaching staff. Its not too far fetched of an idea. All Michigan has to do is look at their top nemesis OSU and see what has happend with Tressel. He won Nat'l Championships at lower levels just like BK.

The only way UC holds onto a coach for any significant amount of time is if they hire a coordinator. The Big schools seemed to shy away from plucking first time head coaches until they see how they build the program (i.e Dantonio). UC was doomed from the start because BK had too much previous success as a HC. He's a PROVEN commodity. Far from a one year wonder or someone who won with someone else's players.
How many more people are going to post this today?
And Tyler Smith is coming to UC.

Does Lance even check his sources or does he strictly go by what others tell him? He must've really enjoyed the childhood game of telephone.
Except he always was the one changing it..

In, UC is recruiting some other people at this time..
Out, Tyler Smith to UC, its a done deal, and please go to my blog for more info that doesnt actually tell you anything!

So, what is the definition of a "BIG SCHOOL", and how many bottle caps do we have to save until we become one?
Big school=Traditional football power with lots of big money donors
Just wondering not to spend his money.. but does anyone know if Nick Lachey contributes to either UCATS or the USC spirit group? he uses their big games alot to publicize himself, wondered if he gave back to the schools?!
Michigan has their coach already for next year. It will be made public after the conference championship games this week. It has been a done deal for at least a week now. Lance's inside sources haven't been very good over the past few years...
Ferentz is what i heard.. but i thought there was a chance that fell through.. lets hope you are right marcus..

Also who regularly sells out a 70+ seat stadium EVERY week, not just when BCS schools come to town. And they also will attract 30-40+ fans/alumni to follow their team to a bowl game, not the 5-6k UC will attract.

BTW, I don't have time to scroll thru every post on this board to see who says what. So I apologize if this is duplicate information.

Just to clarify Marcus, you make it sound like it WON'T be Kelly?
It would be great press for our program and Kelly personally if he actually turned down a firm offer from a Michigan or a Nebraska with the statement that he was happy in Cincinnati and with what he was hoping to build here. In reality I know that is not how things work. Those type of schools won't make a public offer unless they know the answer is yes.

From a pure football standpoint I think Kelly with the team he has returning would have a much greater chance of making a BCS Bowl game next year with us than at Michigan or Nebraska.
I'd assume by conference championships he means the SEC championship :)
Brian Kelly is not going to Michigan. Stop wasting your time on this.
AS some have said all along...Les Miles

If and when UC gets better bowl bids fans will travel.
Nebraska...Turner Gill

Didn't Rutgers' Schiano turn down Miami last year after they essentially made it public that he was their guy? And didn't Rich Rodriguez do the same to Alabama?
to be fair to lance, these aren't his sources that are stating this specific rumor... its simply just a link from footballscoop.com - it seems as if some believe lance is actually proclaiming that BK will be leaving - he's only linking stories about this from other sites on the internet for us locals to read if we so choose...
I also found this on the internet... I think we missed it guys...
