No offense for Temple with a good defensive effort on both sides of the Ball. Temple had their chances but the WMU defense just killed our QB.
Congrats WMU... not sure if we play them next year but was a good game.

Broncos defense really jelled in the past three games. Remember, WMU replaced 5 coaches in the off season, including the DC. It took far too long for the guys to adjust to the change in philosophy. It seems like now they get it.
On Temple's second to last drive, in between 3 penalties, Temple ran a 4th down play 4 times. 3 of them resulted in WMU sacks of Charlton, and only one of them counted.
Bronco QB Tim Hiller became only the second in WMU history to throw for over 3,000 yards in a season today. Tim Lester did it twice back in the late 90's.
Also, junior TE Brandon Ledbetter set a new record for career TDs by a tight end. He passed both Denver Bronco Tony Scheffler and tight ends coach Jake Moreland.
It was nice to see our seniors go out with a win in this season of disappointment, with such high expectations.
Temple is improving but this 16 - 3 score was deceiving. It could have easily been 31-3.
Good luck to Temple next year. Some are saying that the Owls may be picked to win the East next year.
Still, the fact remains that they are 0-6 against WMU.
WMU shut us down big time.
We had no running game and our QB had no time to throw.

And it's been great season for the MAC. Every body struggled at times & it made the season exciting.
Temple Fans - your program has turned the corner. 4 wins this year, We would all like to go straight to the Penthouse, but it takes time. It sure appears that Golden is doing the right things. I believe Temple will continue to get better & better. Good Luck next year.......just not against us.
Congrats to Temple, but it certainly has not been a good year for the MAC in football, TFB. Our supposed better teams mostly got blown out in OOC games, and our divisional "winners" come into the MACC with records of 7-5 and 6-6...ugh! How much uglier can it get? We are used to one or even two teams in the MAC vying for top 25 rankings....not a bunch of teams that go 1-4 OOC. Our bowl season does not shape up to be promising, either.....best chance to win is in the GMAC if we see someone other than UCF.
