Well right now Syracuse is up 9 on Washington at half and have played 4 freshmen and a sophmore. Their top recruit point guard Jonny Flynn needs an attitude adjustment. High school star wants to argue back with the coachs instead of listen when they try to tell him something. One of the best defensive games I've seen in a long time was played by Marquette against Oklahoma State who they beat by 30. Villanova at this point in time has a long way to go. West Virginia figures to lose by double digits to Tennessee tonight. I'm going to watch that game and maybe give you a report tomorrow. Billy Don[/b]
I personally thought Marquette played a helluva game against Duke the other night. Dominic James just missed too many garbage shots.

A well played game that was. Marquette just needs a little more height and they would be really tough. Doesn't look like James is putting out 100% all the time. Billy Don
Marquettes problem is that they have no size and they don't shoot the ball very well.

Have some faith in Huggs!
If anything, I bet they're drastically improved in the defensive/rebounding department than where they were prior to Huggins' arrival. They dont have alot of depth, athletes, or quality big men though. Good news for Huggins is that he has a solid recruiting class coming in next year. If he can get them to play defense/rebound, they should have enough offense to be a pretty good basketball team this season.
Tennessee definitely has much more talent, but Im looking forward to watching the game.

I now know why Beilein was willing to pay 1.5 million out of his own pocket for his buyout. Out of those 6 freshmen and 4 sophmores he signed I think there was only one in the top 400. Now Huggins is stuck with those 6 freshmen for 4 years. I don't think WV has a Big East talent player on the whole team. Tough to watch those smucks play. Billy Don
