I went to that Army contest (with the WKMI radio 'crew', i was longtime 'stat-guy')...in 86', we lost. Amazing venue/scene for a game tho.....
I would love to see a Football and Basketball package with all three service academies on a rotating basis.

I played in the Army game in 93? and we won. It was a great place to see...
I went to that game. Good thing they didn't throw back then, we had this crazy linebacker that only wanted to blow up the pitch man on option. He had a screw loose.
I was at the '93 Army game with a USMA grad. He was pretty bummed at the end. Jay McDonagh and Pete Tuffo hammered them. It was a great win on an ugly, cold day.
Football fine. Hoops, nada.
