Yep

Now, 31-21 CMU with 10:00 left in 3rd Qtr

Broadcast on Comcast Local
I believe it's on Comcast. I'm watching it from CMU's web site.
Friday nite game and no national TV?
Saturday? What day of the week is that for football?

CMU scores again. First defense to hold (or get the ball on a turnover), wins the game.

48-45 EMU with 3:08 left. EMU misses PAT after being assessed for unsportsmanlike penalty.
CMU OL gets a deserved personal foul. Puts CMU in long field goal range. Kick missed. Game over.
Well Dave,

This season ties Genyk's best record (4 wins) at EMU. Its been four seasons of close but no cigar losses. This year's highlight has to be beating WMU and CMU.

Hopefully a little bit of this will rub off in instate recruiting.

Maybe next year the offense and defense can get their timing down and both units play consistently well for the entire season instead of disappearing for periods of time (the offense at the beginning of the year and the disappearing act of the defense at the end of the year).

Go EMU!
And EMU takes the MAC Michigan Title!

Wow. This just makes me more confused about this UT football team. We play CMU tough on the road for 3 quarters, but CMU outscores us 21-0 in the 4th to win 52-31. We lose 42-28 at home to WMU. We go on a 3 game win streak with an impressive offense and hold EMU to 7 points in the first half in a convincing 52-28 victory over the Eagles. Then we get embarrassed on national tv against Ball State 41-20 and can't move the ball at all in the 2nd half.

I really don't know what to expect from UT next Friday at BG. It could be the explosive offense with a slightly bad defense, or it could be the mistake prone bad offense with a horrible defense. Just frustrating to be a UT fan right now. How have you EMU fans dealt with frustrating seasons for so long? It seems like good EMU teams of the late 80's were so long ago.

Go EMU!

I have always held Genyk in high regards after reading the article about how EMU prepared for a game with Michigan a couple of years back. Genyk seemed to be saying the right things and leading his team well. It is no easy task to make EMU into a contender after so many losing seasons and with U of M being right next door like that, but I wish him and EMU continued success. I think he could be the right man for the job.
Wow. What can I say? This was one of the wildest games I have seen in some time. The amazing thing is that EMU has defeated CMU three of the last four years. If only EMU could have this kind of success against the rest of the MAC.

Too tired to write too much right now and will have to file a story shortly but for one moment let me put aside my impartiality and just say 02-13-banana 04-rock 04-bow to the players and coaches on a nice win for EMU.

RF - how have we as EMU fans survived all of the losing? Good question. The first by-line I ever received was writing the 1987 Cal Bowl Preview for Football News. I never thought 20 years later that that would be EMU's lone bowl game but I guess you just keep the faith and assume that at some point it has to turnaround...maybe we are getting there.

Huron Cowboy - this game will definitely help recruiting. Genyk and I were talking about that exact subject after the game. Let's hope it leads to better fortunes next season.

OK - I'm kinda punchy and need to get to sleep.
Capt., we have achieved total parity.
