Looks like all the CMU folks are b*tching about the interference call against their guy in the endzone (a good call in my opinion). Since we're complaining about intereference calls I'll point out the fantom interference call against EMU's Long in the endzone in the 1st quarter. He never touched him!

Bad calls go both ways. Deal with it. If you like to b*tch about poor officiating then move to Ann Arbor.
EMU-CMU Game Story at MAC Report Online: http://www.macreportonline.com/index.php...48-45.html
I cannot understand why EMU is so bad against everyone else. They have way too much talent to finish near the bottom. Congratulations on a great effort and win. It should really help your team in the off season mentally.
More parity disaster for the MAC.......no one seems to want to have a decent record and any bowl appeal whatsoever.

Wow. This just makes me more confused about this UT football team. We play CMU tough on the road for 3 quarters, but CMU outscores us 21-0 in the 4th to win 52-31. We lose 42-28 at home to WMU. We go on a 3 game win streak with an impressive offense and hold EMU to 7 points in the first half in a convincing 52-28 victory over the Eagles. Then we get embarrassed on national tv against Ball State 41-20 and can't move the ball at all in the 2nd half.

I really don't know what to expect from UT next Friday at BG. It could be the explosive offense with a slightly bad defense, or it could be the mistake prone bad offense with a horrible defense. Just frustrating to be a UT fan right now. How have you EMU fans dealt with frustrating seasons for so long? It seems like good EMU teams of the late 80's were so long ago.

Rockets moved the football into scoring position 2 of 3 possessions
in the second half until Opelt went out with Rocket football at the BSU 16 and 1st down.

"ALL?" What an @sslicker statement. A few, maybe. MOST are pissed about the ineptitude of our defense. Check your woodenNickle head before making such wild accusations!

This is far-fetched, but if Miami loses to Ohio and CMU loses their last game (I think against Akron) the loser of the MACC Game will end up 6-7 and not bowl eligible.

Far-fetched? Not at all. In our crazy conference, ANYTHING is possible.03-drunk
EMU played a hell of game and left it all on the field converting 6 of 6 4th down attempts. They ran numerous trick plays, many of which were a successful. Our defense is another story.03-banghead
Seeing the MACC loser be bowl ineligible is not far-fetched at all as both CMU and Miami have tough games upcoming this week, and would be a complete embarassment to the league....can you imagine the announcers of the MACC saying over and over that the loser of our championship game is not even bowl eligible.... Let's hope we don't see that happening.

Hasn't just been crazy in the MAC this year.....all of college football has been crazy. There is more parity in all of college football than ever before. Which is kind of why the MAC's performances against BCS schools this year has been disappointing. Thank God for WMU's win today over Iowa.
Maybe the MAC should consider a rule change that would be similar to the rules for bowl eligibility and take a 7 win team over a 6 win divisional champion for the conference championship game. This year BG (7wins) would go if Miami (6wins) looses to Ohio.
