Sagarin has the LaTech @ USU game as LaTech -5.74

I come up with LaTech -6.5 with my system.

It's a close bet, but if the line stays at LaTech -8, take USU.

USU, BTW, is 6-1 ATS this year so far.

So . . . look for a tough game with USU stuffing LaTech's rushing game, but having trouble with the passing game. USU appears to have finally found its running game against 'Bama, which should translate to pretty good production at home.

Turnovers decide this one, and LaTech's been pretty good in-league with turnovers on the road. Of course, USU's been pretty good in the taking care of the ball at home.

This will be the game where Tech determines whether they are really in the conference race, or if they've just beat bad teams at home. I look for this to be closer than it should be. Tech should win this game by 14-21, but we've all seen how badly we travel. So, are we pretenders or contenders? Bicknell usually pulls one rabbit out of his hat which is closely followed by a turd. Hopefully we've already had our turd game. If so, we should have a surprise for Boise or Fresno at the end of the year. We should win the next 2 games and challenge one of our last two games. I guess we shall all see.
