I've been at practice the last couple of days, and the first thing I noticed were 2 new basketball goals. Looks like they're Spalding-brand, but anyway, they have a different look (structurally) than all the other goals and they're also pretty much solid green and gold.

BTW, it also sounded like the buzzer that sounds at the end of a period was different. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I don't recall it sounding that way before. So I don't think that's a new sound system, but maybe just an adjustment of some kind possibly related to the new basketball goals.

Anyway... nothing major, just wanted to pass that along and say that I think they look really sharp.

They will look even better once the new 3 sided shot clocks are installed

Thanks for the news, I'm looking forward to seeing our Blazers break them in with a few dunks.

Is that certain? I was just wondering about that the other day. Cool stuff. I guess maybe we're using some of that NCAA tournament money on this stuff, but certainly any new features will be welcome additions.

Maybe Memphis paid the bill for breaking one of the goals last year ? :)

The will look best when those 3 point shots start falling.

I just hope we dont have anymore 30 minute delays on National TV anymore.
