Prior to the beginning of this season two of the Senior receivers for Boise State who were being heralded as crucial to the success of Boise State this season were Chrisean Christopher and Josh Smith. Yet a review of the statistics for Boise State this season reveals that neither one of these two players has done anything for Boise State. No pass receptions, no punt returns, no tackles, nothing. What the heck happened to these two valuable SENIOR wide receivers for Boise State?????? Why haven't either one of them seen any playing time this year?

Jerard Rabb, Legadu Naanee, Drisan James and Cole Classen.....this 4 has completely taken over the reps. It's a good thing.
Understand that, but still one would expect that these two senior Wide Receivers would see at least some sort of playing time in their Senior year. Heck, Chrisean Christopher and Josh Smith aren't even listed on the two-deep depth chart at any one of the three WR spots, yet Vinny Perretta and Jason Murray (another Senior WR) are listed on the two-deep depth chart.
Last season Chris Christopher and Josh Smith were both valuable WR's in the Boise State offense. So one has to wonder why they have both fallen so far out of the picture in their Senior season. It is baffling to me.
Even more baffling, I just checked the official Boise State team roster (found on BroncoSports.com) and neither Chrisean Christopher or Josh Smith are listed anymore on the Boise State football team roster. Both are missing from the team roster now.

Josh left the team this summer to move closer to home. He saw that his PT was getting taken. Chris Chris I'm not sure of but there were rumors of academic issues at one point.
We have two freshmen redshirting that could be better than anyone playing for us too. By all accounts Jeremy Childs is and those 4 names mentioned above are the only reason he ins't playing as a true freshman.

It was found that Chris Chris had used up all of his eligibility. It had something to do with his stay at a JC that made him technically ineligible this season.
