Who's up for some football? In reading up on Kent State I see their record is 3 - 6 and they're on a four game losing streak. The game is probably a toss-up, although it's pretty much impossible to pick the Huskies against anyone at this point. Kent's running back Eugene Jarvis is a Wolfe-esque 5-5, 170 pounds, and is averaging 5.9 yards a carry with 1,259 yards and 9 TDs. Their starting QB is out for the season. They started a true freshman in their last game and he went 18-28 for 247 yards and 3 TDs. They scored 32 points against CMU but their scoring possessions included drives of 26, 31 and 9 yards. I'm picking the Huskies for no good reason, 18-17 with three missed extra points and a lost onside kick at the end to make it interesting.
Jarvis will run through our depleted D like bullets through glass. This one will be ugly.

A while back, there was a poll and thread about how many more games the Huskies would win. I said one -- that would it be flukey and it might just be the Kent game. I'll stick to it and say some how, some way, the Huskies will snatch victory from the jaws of defeat on Saturday. Huskies 24, Flashes 23.

I do not have a good feeling about this one I think the team may just want to finish the season as quickly as possible. Based on no facts what so ever I say KSU 21 NIU 14.
