TU has a good run defense, against Ohio's good running game. My bet is that TU game plan shuts down their run, forcing more passing. TU pass D is not shabby, so I see our D keeping them to 20 points or less. The big question is can back up QB Charlton lead the O, will them to victory the way Adam DiMichele did when he was in there and the chips were on the table? I say Charlton is well prepared, plays within himself, and has enough time to execute 24 offensive points. TU 24, Ohio 20.
Temple will win. Next.
Friday nite games in Athens, Ohio don't go well for teams from Pa. 2005 Ohio 16 Pitt 10 was on a Friday nite.

My guess is Ohio players will be pumped as this is the last home game with the students still in town. Should be a good game. I think Bobcats turned the corner last week and Temple will get an Ohio team that will be ready. Bobcats 31 Temple 28 on a late fg.
I don't know enough about Temple's defense to know your chances on defense vs. Ohio's run, but I think the last game at BG we were pretty effective at keeping their D off balance with Theo and his ability to run and pass. I think utilizing that strength in our team might be a key to use against Temple if we start to have trouble getting things started with our ground game against your D. I think Theo is another person that you will have to watch on both running and passing plays that could play out as an equalizer in this game. At any rate, this game should be a good match up. Looking forward to it.

Dude, you're totally right. That's why I hear the plan is to schedule games against Penn State, Pitt, and Temple every year on Friday nights. This will ensure 3 wins for Ohio because it is a proven fact that college football teams from Pennsylvania can not possibly win Friday night games in the state of Ohio.

In fact, maybe Ohio should drop down to D-II, play int he PSAC and only schedule games on Friday nights. Then they would surely go undefeated by virtue of playing all PA schools on Friday nights. The D-II Playoffs might be a problem though.

Should I send these ideas to Fingerhut or will you?

I can't believe they made this a Friday night game. ALthough, they play Akron on WEDNESDAY so they had to do this. I won't be able to make it to the game. This will be the same for several thousand other out of town fans.
Temple Fans:

Has Golden made some adjustments on the O-line and D-line? Against BG, Temple's front four couldn't get any pressure and their offensive line couldn't hold back a four-man rush. Obviously that hasn't been the case during this winning streak. So is it different personnel, different strategy or just some young players growing into their positions?
It aint no miracle, just hard work.

Temple Wins Again!
Baby Jeezus returns!!!
I can't believe we didn't get a TV game with this game. Some fans have the rare opportunity of traveling down, getting a hotel and celebrating a Bobcat win on court street.
Impartial prediction....

OU wins 37-34.... this year. Temple looks loaded for MAC East title in 2008.
That's good question BGS, besides the fact they are starting to gel. Golden flops around the depth chart & they want to hold there spot, they have to earn it. I also think Golden is learning on the job & getting more aggressive. But if you look at there season, Temple has not played that badly, Temple hung with Navy & really did not go after the win. I don't know what the hell happened with Buffalo [tough there improved team]. Conn did alot for there confidence, BG & Army there was alot of self-destruction. The 3 game winning streak Temple starting to look like hungray ball club. My biggest fear is. Patarno last another yr & Temple makes more strides next yr. Golden has to be # 1 on there list.
3-0 Bobcats 47 yd fg by Braunstine. Temple missed a 46 yd fg on their first drive.
10-0 Ohio Kalvin back to back 30 yard runs and in for the six. 86 yards for Mcrae.
10-7 baby, the comeback started
sack leads to long fg, 13-7 ohio.
3 three & outs in 2nd half, D has to step up again, O got do something
