That is what I want to know..

Do we not get them ready ....or do we not recruit good qbs?

either way, we got a problem

Again LeFevour was a REDSHIRT Freshman. Ours are true freshmen. That is a big difference. It's an added year learning the playbook and experience from practicing.

He is just trying to get a rise out of everyone...That's how they do it in houston i guess...
Ahhhh the joys of being literate....you need to try that

I NEVER said that LaFevour was a true freshman but some on that list were....

One who wasnt was lenehan, a true freshman who came in and went 4-5 against us yesterday and got valuable game expereience....I think that is the fourth game he has been in since Toledo started getting injured. That is my point....when Nickleson was suspect, and Morris was just never going to be groomed to start, it would have been nice to see Grady (or anyone who we thought might be in the plans in years to come) to get some real game experience.

I'm sorry, i dont like putting all of my eggs in the Blalock basket (because Nickleson and Morris are NOT the answer for next year.) If Blalock does start next year (a big if) and if he is not any better than Nickleson (he hasnt played a meaingful snap in a long time) then we have little to fall back on.

The argument behind getting our redshirt freshman experience disappeared when we tried to make him into a linebacker and he disappeared south but that is an argument for another day.

especially the defense, they couldn't tackle anybody

No, if Blalock isn't as good as Nicholson, then we have 2 freshman QBs who can get valuable experience. Just like you are calling for this year. It just moves up a year.
Hey Robert !,

You and I have found a common ground.

I too suspect the reason why we have no difference makers playing QB in last 12 years is that not many difference makers coming outta HS wanna be handing the ball off to the RB 60+% of the time.

Did anyone watch the QB for Oregon Ducks? He reminded me of Vick - in a good way.
