Our DB's would do well in a track meet. My God can our safeties hit (20 yards downfield after first downs are made). But they sure let receivers get behind them a lot. Saw some blitzes, but none in the 4th when Davis was chucking it on 5+ step drops on every down.

Tim Hiller couldn't make throws when the game was on the line. He couldn't hit the broadside of anything big, except for the throw to White (a beauty play by White.)

Tim Hiller could end-up like Dave Kruse, an upper-classman on the bench because someone else came into the program or kept-on growing. Hiller is not growing.

West is the O's MVP, easy. Why can't we throw more screens????

But I can't say team loss and only mention Tim. Maybe the coaches. Get used to JUCO transfers. If we can't even line-up correctly because we're so short of LB's, then we have to get them from somewhere..........
Agree with you 100%, not trying to bash on one player but Julien is horrible. I'd really like to think we have a better receiver then him somewhere around the program.
Our receivers are not as good as we thought. Simmons is the exception, but where are those other guys? Hiller was off today, but the WRers were not getting seperation either.
^^ Agreed. After Simmons and Ledbetter (where was BL?) we have no one. Other observations: Julien is fast and runs great routes, but he seems to forget about watching the ball. And why no screens or reverses to West? They used him north and south all day. Was Bonds hurt? I saw he had limited action. And no more power-I. Everytime they line that up I groan and the 'D' stacks the line and stuffs it. Where was a pitch-out to West to head for the pylon when we were inside the 10?

After watching Jennings, I'm sure it's hard for anyone to measure up!
I think our QB is playing like a kid who is affraid to make a mistake, and doesn't trust most of his options. He sometimes holds it to long, he sometimes locks onto guys (Led, and Simmons) and it sometimes works. It is easy to blame the WRs for not being good enough to make the offense work. It looks to me like the QB position has been over coached all year and its finaly coming back to bite us. Hiller doesn't have the complete trust of the coaches and he plays like it.
