I don't see how they were over rated. They won every game on their schedule to date, including Auburn on the road. IMO its more of an indictment against the polling system than USF.

I actually think this is more an indictment of the writer that the polling system itself. The writer couldn't wait to get his licks in, and the pollsters will vote the team up or down. USF has played a very good schedule to date (beating Auburn and at the time, 5th rated WVU), and still has to play top 25, UC. tO$U is number one and all they have done is win the MAC (4 games against MAC teams).

Mike Gottfried when he was broadcasting the UC - Louisville game kept saying the same thing - O$U has only beaten one team with a winning record.

My comment was directed at the article. You can't say that USF was overrated when they played a much tougher schedule then the #1 ranked team in the country. Just because your Scarlet and Grey Glasses covered eyes saw it as a shot at O$U doesn't change the fact that it's the truth.
If USF was overrated, then O$U is vastly overrated.

I agree, Ohio State's schedule this year is not impressive. The plan was for Washington to be the premiere OOC game. Despite scheduling Washington coming off of an 11-1 record and a Rose Bowl berth, that plan didn't work out this year. Not OSU's fault, but who really cares - the schedule is what it is and what it is, is unimpressive. That being said, the trashing of their schedule is a textbook case of opportunism. We're all aware of who they've played prior to 2007 in the non-conference schedule and who they're going to play after 2007.
Whatever keeps the focus off of UC's schedule, right?
I don't see any claims that UC is overrated. UC is ranked where they should be. But I guess you need to deflect back to us UC fans. UC is ranked where they should be.
The point is if the #2 team in the country was overrated with a stronger schedule, what does it say about the #1 team with the weaker schedule. Try to stay on the point.
