South Florida now has 1 loss. Rutgers has two but 1 in Big East. West Virginia has 1. We have 1. We are very much in the Big East hunt right now. The loss to Louisville really hurts now but its ok. We have to bounce back. Take care of business and win Saturday. Than go down to Tampa. Attack Grothe. Blitz. He cant handle it. He was sacked 7 times tonight. We can beat them. Than we gotta bust our asses against West Va. Im very confident now to play South Florida after watching them tonight.

Me and 8 others saw that last year at Nippert. We match up very well with that team.
As of tonight UCONN is all alone in 1st place. If they lose to Louisville and UC takes care of bidness, would mean 6 teams have one loss in the BE. What a mess.
Ha your right I didn't realzie it was 6. Maybe we not in as great shape as I thoguht. We either way we involved in mess so Im happy.

I was at game last year too and was very surprised how bad we won.
We can be the only team in the conference with seven wins overall after this week if we take care of business Saturday.
I'd say UofL will hammer UCONN but then again, I thought for sure USF was going to take out Rutgers...

I wish USF was undefeated when we went to Tampa, but that's out now...what a crazy year.

UC just needs to take care of business this week vs. Pitt or we are out of the Top 25
We likely control our own destiny, all we have to do is win out, well and hope Louisville loses another conference game. I thought we matched up well with USF and am more confident in a win now, but USF will be one hostile environment and they are exceptionally tough at home. Lets start by taking care of business tomorrow.
I'm actually happy we don't have to play in Tampa in front of a fan base that is going nuts b/c they could potentially be #1 at that point. That loss takes some wind out of their sails.

Man, UCONN gets UL, Rutgers, USF and at UC and WVU in the next 6 weeks. Nasty schedule.
Its a new thing to be talking about us being able to win a big east title, which is great. The way it shakes out, we control our own destiny at this point. Winning out against our remaining schedule would put us in the driver's seat with the tie breaker against Rutgers.

With South Florida down now, does the BE have any chance at putting a team in the nat'l championship game? I would like to think yes, but I'm not sure.

IMO, it's extremely unlikely.

My opinion is that WVU has a good chance. They fall behind a few one loss teams but if the SEC teams take another loss and Oklahoma loses I think they've got as good a chance as anyone else. USF might be in the same boat depending where they end up this week.
I think WVU is most likely, the problem is the pollsters don't seem to care too much for them and the BCS computer places much importance on this fact.

Too bad they can't figure out the BCS computer like OSU (perennial preseason top 10+ 7 home cupcakes= shot at losing in title game as the most overrated team in the nation every year)
