Hope the defense comes to play Friday. NW's offense has been hot lately. EMU's D needs some early stops and turnovers.
On the flip side, NW's defense seems to be poor.
If Schmitt is healthy this might be another Ford Field shootout.
Schmitt IS out for Friday`s game, MacMahon will start with T. Jones backing him up even though he and Thayer have split the other snaps. Unless a small miracle, Hunt is about 90% out also with Cozart getting the start and Palsrock getting some time, I might assume S. Johnson could also back up if needed. Just in case anybody hasn`t seen MacMahon play...he is a very confident and exciting to watch, takes control when he is in there...contrary to what one of our favorite losers is saying on that other board, Gage is not taking any snaps at QB and wont.......
