Listening to the Vandy game on the radio it sounded like the D-line had a great game. Jason Jones may just be a first day draft pick (the Lions could use help on D).

Gotta get more offensive production in games like this. Give some credit to Vandy who has one of the better defenses in the SEC.

Nice to see McMahon got his feet wet although I'm not sure if I agree with the timing. I think he should've seen a series last week against Howard.

The only scoring drive came with two 2nd-string linemen in the game. Depth at last?

Brockman might be legit at DE. Spencer Smith went out with a concussion and Riley is out for the year (surgery on both knees - yikes) so the freshman should get a lot of PT.

Shepp and Rubick are a very good radio team.
I was disappointed Schmitt's turnover rate ie interceptions now equals this TDs and after praising him for taking care of the ball, then this game.

Where was Tyler Jones period in this game? I found that interesting.

A positive was our four inceptions. Unfortunately we do not have a "killer" offense that takes the gifts the defense gives them and then cashes in.

EMU has a tough schedule but games like this show how offer EMU and the MAC has to come in the football program to beat low tier schools in very good conferences.
Cowboy...I believe your question was about Tyler Jones not in at QB? We`re not going to see that happen unless everybody goes down with an injury, he`s officially listed as a WR now. Dropped a pass early and then didnt see much time after that. Contrary to what someone said on that other board, Schmitt had no injury at all, Genyk just wantec a change of pace at that time in the game because Andy was struggling. Andy`s a tough kid, he`ll bounce back. Lang and Maynor didnt play the 2nd half at at all, Lang because he aggravated a knee injury and I`m not sure about Maynor. Larkins played in Lang`s place and E. Davis was at center and neither one of them looked out of place, and Charles even got time at LT when Fretz went out for a bit....On another note, I think Genyk is very upset with his OC, there was a couple times he was on the headphones right after some play calling and I`ve never seen him so pissed off and animated..throwing the headphones down when he was done, but I cant be totally sure who he was talking to. 4th and 1 and we go for it...I agree with the decision to do so, but....what do we do?....we try to run a sweep around right end and end up losing yardage!

Frick and Frack?

First they need to learn the meaning of the word "indicted" instead of using it in trying to describe how well our defense played and then, ten seconds later try to say how stupid some Vanderbilt kid was.

They are idiots.

They didn't call the kid stupid, they said he made a stupid play by fielding a punt near his own goal line. I'd rather listen to these guys than the UM team of Beckman and the arrogant Brandstatter.
Stupid is as stupid does.

That was calling the kid stupid.

Shepard misscalls every 4th call and Rubick's always searching for words.

Nemorowsky(SP?) is head and shoulders over both of them.
