Attendance is really down around the MAC this year. Most of these games in good weather would normally draw 20,000.

I thought Toledo's numbers were shocking as they've always been able to at least get 20,000 in through the gates since they moved to night games.

On the Ohio board, fans were screaming bloody murder over a no show by the students resulting in 17k. One suggested idea was to not play opposite Ohio State and have the home games all at 7pm, well that did not work for Toledo even with a BigXII team in the house.

It seems like the enthusiasm for this league has slipped since Marshall left the MAC. Marshall brought a ton of fans and was a huge drawing card anywhere they went because of their reputation.
Ohio game was on TV, so that might have hurt the attendance. I do know that there is no need for stadium expansion. Wyoming might be the best non-conference team to visit Peden in a while, but we failed to get 17,000 on a good weather day. How pathetic that happy hour conflicted with the second half for the students.
