Big game next week guys. If NIU can take care of the Chips, the MAC West could certaintly be within striking distance. There would be another tough one at Toledo, but we get Western and Ball U at home.
A win is a win, some good things and some bad today, but we cracked into the win column, lets start the streak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised at how bad CMU is this year. NIU should be able to win that game.

I've been saying that all season long. It was pretty evident when every team they have played has scored 31 or more points against them.
If one would pick a team in the MAC WEst to loose to I would pick EMU.
If we win out the MAC West is ours!
EMU is unlikely to win out in the MAC.
Hopefully Toledo will remain crappy and not stage their ussual recovery intime to compete effectively in the MAC.
I hope we will still have enough players who are not injured by then!

Someone is forgetting the "sleeping giant" that is Ball State.
It is looking very much like Ball State's year.

ND State is actually a very good football team...a very elite type of IAA team. So it didnt surprise me that put the smack down on the chips.

I agree, they have stepped it up both in football and basketball, not much shame in losing to them, although CMU should have had a better showing at home.
I'm going to CMU next weekend. Anyone i can get a ride with? Or i'll drive if i can find 3 others who want to come to share gas costs.
Should be interesting watching too really bad teams trying to give the win to the other. I still think we lose his game but we will see.

How about, after things TOTALLY start going Idaho's way our D steps up on the last drive and stops them. Something they haven't done all year. (Sure looks like we are starting to grow!)

Well if you took the time to read some other posts you would see that I acknowedged he great job the defense did, especially Larry English. But if you think that will be a weekly thing you may want to think again. I sat in the stands in the zero win years of the 90's, saw the development of the team to 2003 and the steady downtrend since then. I am glad your an optimist, good thing for a young boy to be, but as you will learn when you mature your must also become a realist and see things for what they are. Yep, we won that game, no doubt, but I do not see it as a game that will be built on. Maybe I'm wrong but time will tell. It always does.. EMO?????
