I've thought ever since that incident with Karl...it would be KMart that would go.

This should significantly improve his PT. Hope he's still in shape to play.....

By trading Evans, the Nuggets cast a vote of confidence on the health of power forwards Nene, Kenyon Martin and Eduardo Najera. Nene is recovering from a strained right calf; Martin is recovering from his second microfracture knee surgery in two years; and Najera often is a health hazard unto himself because of his hustling style of play.
Ready to play?

You are referring to one of the greatest Bearcat's of all time - he'll be ready.
I know who i'm referring to. But he's hasn't played for a full year...and the better part of two years. That won't help anyone's game. And he sure hasn't posted anywhere close to the numbers at Denver that he posted in NJ. Even his first year when theoretically healthy.

I wonder if he wouldn't have been better off if it weren't KMart that got traded...and not Evans.

Carmello has always been a shot hog...and now with Iverson that's x2!
It has been a long, long time since Kenyon has played like Kenyon. I hope he comes back huge, but I have to admit I kind of wonder about the cumulative effect of all the leg injuries.

Carmelo is a monster talent and a definite ball hog.
IMO KMart was not brought to NJ for his scoring... he was acquired pure and simply to bring eastern conf "toughness" to the Nuggets. And with Carmelo and AI there last year he wouldn't have gotten many touches except off the boards anyway. This year even if it's just Carmelo, KMart will be a 3rd or 4th option offensively which I think helps his comeback because it frees him to do what he does best, block shots, play monster D and intimidate 05-mafia like a true Huggins taught Bearcat PF is be expected to do

If he is healthy. But he really hasn't been healthy for about 3 years. He isn't old, but with his style of play and those leg and knee injuries, I just hope he can still fully utilize all his athleticism.
