So, I'm flying Southwest yesterday out of the 'ham on a work mission, and who should I be sharing a plane with, but one Winfrey Sanderson.

No, I did not say, "This is for Enos Whatley" and punch him in the face.

Anywho, I'm at the baggage carousel in San Diego, and tickled to see a UAB Alumni tag on a piece of luggage that wasn't mine.

Yes, we will take over the world one day.
Don,t bother asking for grits or sweet tea while you are there, amigo.

Should have walked up and said "Hey Sonny!"
I'll be in San Diego in two weeks. I'll be sure to sport my Blazer gear.

or, if my experiences in arizona and new mexico were any indication, coca-cola products. unless it's fast food place that is.

beautiful part of the country though.
I had a layover in Houston a few weeks ago and I was (surprise surprise) wearing my UAB polo. I know, it was between the green UAB polo and the green UAB polo. I chose the green one. Anyway, back to the story. As I was in line at the airport Chili's, a lady came up to me and started talking to me. She asked if I was a coach at UAB. I sort of chuckled at that question. Uh, yeah lady, the mascot coach. Anyway, I thought it was funny that she assumed that I was a coach because I had on UAB attire.
Did you remove the silly rooster head after she approached you?
I went to Dragon Con a couple weeks ago and spotted a girl in a UAB shirt.

That was probably Band Dad. The hair can be confusing.

Bite me. The beard and moustache more than make up for the hair.

I'd love to have the Blaze suit for the costume parade though, that would be a blast! I did wear Blazer gear a good bit while I was over there, the dragon theme fit right in.

As to the women, migawd! 04-jawdrop This is particularly true after 10pm or so once the kids are out of circulation. There are some costumes that are largely skin and body paint. Lots of skin.

It's such a good time! I can't wait till next year, but I gotta figure out a way to make the UTK game on that weekend while still working at the con. /grumble

I never seen anyone wearing a shirt made out of collards before. You must have looked scrumptious.
