Both, IMO, bring nothing to the table. They only add to the bickering that has gone on here for 2+ years. It seems that things have been better even over the past 3 days or so that Chatter has been gone.
Chatter annoys me a lot of the time... His insults to many former Bearcats players and coaches really bug me... But if he came back at some point i'd be fine with it. I really cannot blame the mods either way.

maybe i need to start paying attention to poster names. honestly about teh only name i make note of is don's. i guess that is a complement to don. he has some funny stuff, but i always know that on every thread he is active on that sooner or later he is going to pis$ me off. but i guess that is what keeps me coming back.

but i guess i don't really like banning someone permenently. i mean it is a messege board for pis$ sake. it seems to me that ignoring someone who is baiting you is the best way to deal with it. if someone baiting and attacking you on an anomomous messege board consumes your thoughts, then you need a better hobby.
i really don't get worked up if someone i don't even know thinks they are rippin me a new one on a messege board. i sleep just fine.

It depends what he was actually banned for. If it's the profanity, the mods have posted plenty of warnings about typing to get around the censor in the past. If it's for his constant back and forth, then I don't think it should be permanent. The ignore feature can be used. Plus, it seems like there are some members that really like to egg him on and get under his skin. He probably needs to do a little growing up and not take everything so personally though.
Bearcats80, there are plenty of differing viewpoints. He just can't take differing opinions and begins attacking other people personally.
OK. I just went back and read the thread that got him kicked off. Granted, he crossed the line at the end. But honestly, what is up with folks jumping on him for calling a player a malingerer? Its his opinion. Big deal. Its not like this is the US Navy and that's an accusation that will get a player court marshaled. I honestly don't see why it seemed to initially bother Beck so much.
Chatter says plenty of stupid things. He deserves grief for those. However, I think a handful of folks tend to jump on him too quickly at times for crap that is really not that big of a deal or for stuff they would probably just let slide without getting their hackles raised if someone else posted it. How he handles the folks that get on him needs some tweaking, no doubt. Heck, we used to get dozens of worse things than that daily from chatter and others in the now hopefully discontinued "Mick is a midget" threads. Lets refer to this topic when those threads come back - and they will.
I have no opinion on whether he gets a pardon or not. Just my .02.

There are others in addition to Chatter who make personal attacks.
Anyone who writes seriously about his sex life and then asks for help with it on this board and anyone who spouts off like a klaperkeh is very wimpy. If he wants to come crawling back after being banned, then he is definitely a peedunk, a ligner, a menuvel, a nudnick, and probably has to find a nefkeh in a nefkeh bay-is, just to get some.

he holds the record for the most banned/deleted, many at his own request.
he has been warned before about his language choices, malingerer not being one of the contentious words. the whole "sex life with some adolescent" thing is beyond even the "i divorced my wife, not the other way around" hogwash.
I hear ya. Like I said, no problem with the decision. My comments were more directed at some of the things that lead up to these language choices. Sex life comments - I've got no time for that stuff around here, either.

Its about time, at some point people run out of chances. Five personalities and multiple bannings later, and its the same old crap. The manic swings from his instigation and insulting mode to the poor me, I'm being persecuted routine, and finally to the "I've turned over a new leaf" are as predictable as the seasons changing. It all seems to stem from a serious need for attention. He cleans it all up for a few days, makes some worthy posts but you just know it won't be long before this kind of crap occurs, calling people dicks and just trying to push buttons with people. The fact that he can't understand what calling someone a "malingerer" means is sad. I guess Chatman has faked an injury that has kept him out for over a year so he doesn't have to play in games. Makes sense. The fact that he can pick a fight and create a pissing match over the most innocuous of topics: in this case the bengals cutting a player,[/u] speaks volumes.
The next predictable move will be the predictable begging to be allowed back on, "I've turned a new leaf" "I was going through a bad spell where I was banging teenagers and drinking too much Mich Ultra" blah fricking blah. Happy trails.

I missed that one...and boy am I glad I did. He seriously can't help himself when it comes to controlling his brain filter. He must just type whatever pops into his head. But I've seen the big boy bragging posts about how hard he parties (and karaokes) and how young women are into him, etc. and it screams insecure little guy.
