Lost among the disastrous results on the field was the opening of the Yordon center. I remember reading some posts earlier this year critiquing the architecture and prefab construction on the building.
Now I am certainly not an architecture critic, but to my untrained eyes the building looked absolutely magnificent (even with the cheesy Christmas lights.)

It looks tremendous. I loved the red lights around the terrace. Hopefully some recruits will love it too. We joked about the guy on the terrace catching the kicks so the ball didn't hit the windows. Not too much pressure there...
Yordon Center looked absolutely terrific. Seeing the finished product saved at least part of the evening. The way the entire north side is now enclosed with the building and the fencing gives the stadium a much more "big-time" feel. I too liked the way it was lit after dark, including the red "Christmas" lights.
The original renderings compared to the finished product are miles apart. Thank Goodness !!!!
Early drawings looked like a prefab non descript functional building without eye appeal.
While I'm not crazy about the shape or limited amount of glass on second floor leading to terrace, it's mitey sweet.
