Has the constant changes in the coaching staff hurt this program? Lately it seems like a player every year has to adjust to a new coach. We have had a lack of stability at all coaching positions other than head coach. Perhaps Phillips should spend some of that $ 1 million dollars on coaches salaries.

+1
I think that is the biggest reason for the difficulty staying at the '03-'04 level of play. 100% turnover every two or three years can't be a good thing.
That is because of the low expectations and goal of the program. But the bigger problem is the poor recruiting.

OK, we all get it, we're supposed to go and steal all of USC's 4 star guys. Could you please provide another thought besides the "regional recruiting" thing? Every thread you've posted on is exactly the same.

I'm not even asking that you be positive, just be negative about something else for awhile.

i have no problems with the recruiting. i feel we put on some pretty good talent on the field. its just a matter of harnessing it. we played decently against Iowa, and a few key injuries surely did not help last nights game.

Well when a system breaks down you find what it is and fix it. This is really the only problem I see with the program. So every element associated with it is what you go after. Recruiting is the responsibility of the coach so we start there.
here's a possiblility...could it be that not only are asst coaches are using us as a stepping stone BUT....they are leaving sooner due to the fact that JOE does not allow them to be imaginative and show what they can do. Once they realize this, they bolt for the first opening.
