I don't know about anyone else on this board, but the latter part of this game felt all too familiar ala the Mac Championship game when we played Akron. SIU just slowly wore down our D until the very last minute.

Yeah, but that MAC title game ripped my heart out. That was as bad as it gets. This is a bunch that just brokedown. Not having McCarthy was huge. I am looking forward to this rivalry with SIU. I feel the teams are very much evenly matched, lack of scholarships or not. SIU gets more than a few major school transfers. Look at ISU. They have transfers from half of the Big Ten schools.

LOL, rivalry with a 1-AA team? That just shows how pathetic we are right now. And yeah, this was a repeat of the MAC Title game, everybody choked. At least that was to a 1-A team.
