Release - September 4th, 2007 - Fatty's Ultimate Tailgate at Wisconsin Event Now on Sale
Fatty's Pub and Grille in DeKalb, the Official Pre and Post Game Headquarters of NIU Athletics is pleased to announce Fatty's 3rd Annual Big Ten Away Game Tailgate is now on sale.
This years event is prior to our Huskies taking on the Badgers from Madison, WI on October 20th, 2007. The tailgate will begin 3 hours prior to kickoff (Time TBA) located at an exclusive location within walking distance to the stadium. Huskie fans will have about an acre of land to tailgate on, with a big top tent, tables and much more. There is plenty of charge parking lots located right next to our tailgate, so this will be a very convienent place for all of our Huskie fans to congregate together. This tailgate and location is exclusive to Fatty's customers and NIU fans!
The biggest story with this years tailgate is the food!,

A Madison tradition for over 33 years, Smoky Jon's #1 BBQ has produced fantastic, authentic wood-cooked barbecue in the Madison area. They are also world renowned, winning numerous World and National Pro BBQ Championships
Jon Olson owner of Smoky Jon's will be cooking for our fans before the game in person and will be grilling over wood right on site!
The menu for the tailgate includes three different types of meats served buffet style with sides, condiments and more. Plus the tailgate event also includes all of your beverages with Beer, Soda, Water and Absolut Drinks being served during this 3 hour event. Cost of the tailgate is $40 per person.
NIU vs Wisconsin Game Tickets are also available for purchase thru Fatty's tailgate event, Tickets for the game are sold out thru Wisconsin and NIU Ticket offices and Fatty's only has 100 game tickets available, so we do not expect the tickets to last long.
(as of monday we had already sold 25% of our game tickets)
Sportours, our travel partner is also offering Deluxe coach bus transportation to and from the game with snack and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) being served, cost of bus trip from DeKalb is $48 per person.
